Over 20 years’ experience in sound post-production
Halfway into her studies in literature and cinema, Michelle combined her interests by entering the field of dialogue editing. From the page to the screen, she is first and foremost interested in stories, the emotions they stir and the questions they evoke. At once perseverant and contemplative, she is motivated by a desire to erase any traces of the process from the final work, returning fluidity to the story.
She loves the new story each project brings, and the surprise of new encounters. She sees her day-to-day work as archaeological: dusting, cleaning, restoring what was thought lost or non-existent and ensuring the story maintains its rhythm and that the characters come alive.
